Michael Crosby
A twenty-something Jesus-follower who apparently loves hyphens, grew up in beautiful New Hampshire, and can’t get enough real maple syrup. In 2006 I married Abigail, who is not only her “father’s joy,” but also her husband’s — what a brilliant God, finding me a wife with a Hebrew name! I have a seminary education, which is a clever way of saying that if my blog posts are ever out of touch, it’s because I paid a lot of money to get that way. But don’t worry, Grey’s Anatomy keeps me grounded. Speaking of television, if I could watch only one show for the rest of my life, it would probably be Lost. The West Wing is second, but sooner or later its picture of the American political landscape will be antiquated; Lost deals with timeless issues of human nature and social conflict.
I recently moved to Champaign, Illinois. Abby is a social worker, and I am… well… blogging (in between sunrise shifts at FedEx). Sooner or later, there will be a job. I’m an academic wannabe with a strong connection to the church, and the waning conviction that there may actually be a way to get paid for such things. I hope you enjoy my blog!
